Research

The Texas A&M Chemical Engineering Department has faculty engaged in a wide breadth of research ranging from highly applied research in the areas of biomass utilization, process safety, and hydrocarbon processing to very fundamental research in nanotechnology, life sciences, and molecular simulation. The ultimate goal of the research performed in our Department is to positively impact society by providing new knowledge. An additional benefit of this work is that the students involved in this work also develop into independent researchers who, in their careers, will continue to advance the forefront of science and technology.
